Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
Short version: Crossnook does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data.
What the app stores
Your puzzle progress (letters you have filled in, words found, reveals used, solved puzzles, your streak and your text-size setting) is stored only on your device. It never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. If you use your device's own backup, your device platform may include this app data in that backup under its own terms.
What the app does not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo access.
- The puzzles are built into the app; it makes no network requests of its own.
Purchases
The optional Puzzle pack is sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We only receive confirmation that the purchase is owned, so the app can unlock it. We do not receive your payment details.
Children
Crossnook is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
